As I stepped inside, I was greeted by the same sense of cleanliness; everything was neatly arranged, and the menu was easy to read. However, I had an embarrassing surprise when it came time to pay—they only accept cash. Unfortunately, I didn't have any; just my credit card and Apple Pay. The staff was quick to reassure me, saying, "You can come back later to pay." I was a bit uncertain since I was only in the area by chance. Luckily, my companion had some cash on hand, so she covered the bill.
Overall, the staff was friendly and clearly prepared for unexpected situations like this. I definitely recommend giving this place a try, but don't forget to bring cash!
WARNING: I ordered decaf coffee because I am sensitive to caffeine. Unfortunately, the barista served me regular coffee, and I only realized it after I'd finished the entire cup. Now I'm feeling very sick and experiencing severe shaking from the caffeine, which is the worst reaction I've ever had. I strongly advise against going to this place—please take your business elsewhere. The barista who was working on 8/20/20 made a serious mistake, whether out of ignorance or to save costs, I can't say. I'm only mildly sensitive to caffeine, but for some people, high levels can be life-threatening. This experience was absolutely terrible.
WARNING. Asked for decaf coffee. I am caffeine sensitive. Barista gave me full caffeine coffee and I didn't know until i drank the whole thing and it started to kick in. I am currently sick and getting the worst shaking from caffeine I can ever remember. Do not go here, take your business elsewhere. Whoever was the barista here today 8/20/20 really messed up due to pure ignorance, or to cut corners and save money, I don't know. I'm only slightly sensitive to caffeine. Extreme levels of caffeine can be life threatening to some people. Absolutely horrible.

It has a rich, dark roast flavor with subtle chocolate undertones. If you enjoy a bold and robust iced coffee, I highly recommend trying it at Ultimate Perk.

Hey Theresa Sullivan, I believe the purpose of this is to write a review on the coffee shop not air out your dirty laundry for everyone to see you are how old and still causing this drama? I think MIT should take you back I was in last week and got a sandwich. It was made to order and tasted fantastic. The eat in area was trendy and inviting not to mention everything looked brand new as if it was sparkling clean. I will be back soon!
Best local coffee shop ever! Low-key, inexpensive, chill, great coffee, donuts and sandwiches and a great hangout for anyone who just wants to relax and catch up with friends. Not to mention the staff is super-friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you are happy. This place is the heart and soul of Andover. Can't go wrong!
The Ultimate Perk has the best coffee drinks and baked goods in town. It is obvious the owners take pride in their product and customer service. Their staff is always pleasant and professional. Small town Andover has a very large asset having The Ultimate Perk in their town!
This place is wonderful. Their treats are fantastic (try the glazed cruller), they have 3 different types of iced coffee that all are excellent (try the Kyoto, well worth the price) and their bagels are awesome! Thanks for helping make downtown Andover a fun place!

Love the coffee....may flavors to choose from... They always have my pumpkin ..all year round ..They are the best. Friendly folks and lots of good food/pastries too!!
