They said the wait was 30-45 minutes. We waited for an hour and half. We checked in to be seated around 6pm on a monday night (10.25.2021). We got a text around 730pm and got seated 735 since we're just waiting outside, right behind the counter where we can see them work. Do the math. We also observed from a good vantage point on how things are being run on this ramen place. We ordered right away since we knew that they move slow. We got our ramen around 745pm. If you're calling to place an order, you will never get your phone order because they never answer the phone. Forget it! I called 5 times to test them and they failed miserably. The waiting line grew and most people waiting to be seat...
Loveeeeed the Umaya burger. Definitely worth a try. Their ramen is also pretty good. The spicy paste brought my experience to a new level! I've never seen another place have something like that. It's made of Habanero peppers and actually gives a good kick of spice. As someone who loves spicy food this was a really amazing surprise to Japanese food that isn't usually spicy in that way. Atmosphere is really nice. Good for groups, one on one's or even alone in my opinion. Staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating!
Ordered their Keto ramen and it knocked it out of the park! The noodles are mushroom noodles rather than the traditional noodles and it hit the spot. I was expecting for it to come with just broth, meat, and veggies so the noodles were a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend for anyone on a low carb diet or who wants a lower calorie option.
Finally I tried this spot! Great service and food was really good. Staff was very friendly and attentive.What we ordered: The takoyaki appetizer, the umaya house ramen and seafood ramen. it had a fairly good portion of seafood!If you're craving some ramen, this is right off the freeway. Check it out!

great food and drinks! I just know you're gonna wait one! we waited about an hour to eat. that was on a weekday. They immediately sat at the bar, but waited for one to get our food. I was with good company so we weren't waiting much. but if you starve, you better go somewhere else.
Great quality on the food and service... did takeout this time. I had the delicious Umaya ramen and my wife had the equally good veggie ramen and we had the portobello fries for the first time... basically tempura mushrooms, so good.
The food was great ordered the house special and sumo sized it! Let's just say I left feeling satisfied the noodles where very savory as well a the broth I recommend this restaurant if you're a lover of hot soups for sure !
It is little pricy but yummy Looks like they are testing robot server. Interesting. Nice shopping center, a lots of eatery. I came here with my daughter-in-law's recommendation. I also recommend to all.

The ramen is decent. But their selection of unique appetizers are what makes this place stands out.
This is my favorite place for Ramen in Cerritos. The food is delicious and they have late hours.
