Umi Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were friendly, generous, and incredibly nice. They even gave me a little ceramic bulldog bobblehead as a birthday present, along with some delicious ice cream! I felt completely at home and the atmosphere was amazing. As for the food, I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi, and let me just say, it was the most delicious steak I have ever tasted. I have no idea what made it so good, but it truly blew my mind. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was top-notch and I highly recommend it for a nice dinner or special celebration!

The place was packed and lively. I called ahead for togo sushi. I was promptly greeted even though there were others waiting for take out. It was ready when I arrived, with couple pairs of chop sticks, napkins, and soy sauce. I requested extra wasabi no problem. It was easy to view the menu from the web site and it even had some pictures. My sushi was very good, good zip to my spicy salmon roll and the wasabi was worth it. Parking is bad just not enough spaces for the three restaurants in that shopping area.

The food and service were amazing. My brother and I went yesterday afternoon and I had trouble deciding on a sushi dish, but Michaela was fantastic. She recommended one of her favorites and was incredibly kind and beautiful. She was excellent at her job and made an effort to engage in conversation. Michaela knows how to provide great service and connect with customers. We will definitely be returning for both the food and customer service.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. However, it is not possible to make a reservation, so I would not recommend it for a special occasion unless you are willing to wait. The atmosphere in the old section is decent, but the new section is decorated in a New Orleans theme, which seems out of place for a Japanese Steak House. Overall, it is a good spot for casual dining, but I would not choose it for a date or work dinner. Réservez une table maintenant

the food and service was amazing. my brother and i went yesterday afternoon, i was having trouble picking a sushi and michaela was great, she recommended one of her favorites. she was awesome very nice, really good at her job, and made an effort to make conversation. michaela knows how to do her job very well and connect with customers. will be back for the food and customer service.

Solid run of the mill hibachi place. No complaints and nothing to write home about. I would go back when the hibachi craving hits me and the family again. Sushi was good, but most things were cooked in some way or had cream cheese. Overall though, it was great!

The server was personable and kept us entertained with his impressive tricks! The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients, particularly the vegetables (unlike some places that serve frozen ones).

Great hibachi, great sushi. I wish the non-hibachi seating didn't have TVs and had more of the vibe that the hibachi area has. Réservez une table maintenant

Great show while food is cooked in front of you. Way to much food, be prepared to take home a doggy bag.
