I went there with my husband for my birthday. Had read rave reviews about the restaurant so was looking forward to it. We arrived at 7.15pm the restaurant opened for dinner at 7.30pm. The staff saw us outside but made no acknowledgement, nor did they open the door to let us in. It was in November so it was cold and it was also raining. We ended up having to sit for 15mins in the cold, at the bus stop next to the restaurant. At 7.30pm sharp, we walked back to the restaurant. Again, the staff saw us there but did not make any move to open the door of the restaurant to welcome us. A charming restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. We had a wonderful meal. Although we were initially nervous about having no choice in the menu, they went out of their way to ensure that anything we couldn’t eat – seafood in my husband’s case – was substituted with something just as delicious. Each dish was an imaginative and attractive. The wine suggestions were superb. We can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. Une expérience gastronomique véritablement inventive, ambitieuse et bien exécutée. Le chef a vraiment une vision de sa cuisine, et nous avons ressenti un équilibre magistral entre l'exécution des saveurs, l'espièglerie, l'inspiration et la surprise. Pour ceux qui recherchent une expérience culinaire, cela pourrait très bien être le meilleur endroit de toute la région (nous avons essayé de nombreux autres endroits réputés). Cela vaut le détour pour manger cette nourriture !

Staying just one night in Perigueux, this restaurant exceeded our expectations. We had the 6 course option which was preceded by two amuses bouches. Each course was delightful; fresh ingredients perfectly cooked and presented. One of the best dinners we have eaten. Welcome was warm, service excellent and a spacious dining room with good atmosphere. Full so booking recommended. Will definitely return if in the area again

Still magic and very creative with original flavors and tastes. Probably the best restaurant in Perigueux. It’s always a great pleasure to go there.
