Had a quiet birthday dinner for my wife recently, and as both of us are vegetarian, we were delighted to find their veggie options to be superb. Although the location on busy Rue de la Commune (Vieux-Montréal’s tourist-crowded thoroughfare) is not a calm part of the city, the ambience inside was tranquil very cosy. The service was attentive helpful, the decor was lovely, and the food was EXCELLENT.Portion sizes are just right, with great flavours brought to life by clearly skilled chefs. Best of the best of the best. I had the most wonderful birthday lunch here! The food is out of the world but what else can you expect from a restaurant with ties to Olive et Gourmand.The burrata dish made me so so happy. Beautifully done. Liked the pesto pasta as well but it could have done with more lemon. The pizza was yummyyyyy. And I think they had one of the better tiramisu I’ve had in my life.Our server was so sweet and kind. Such a nice man and made every effort to make my birthday even more special. Would definitely come back.
I can't do enough about caffe un po di piu rave! we liked it so much that we have eaten here twice during our 3 overnight in montreal. the service is excellent as the atmosphere/decoration. we both sat at the bar and our bartender/water was so attentive and friendly. we have pei oysters, burrata, gnocchi, bruschetta and the tiramisu for dessert. I wasn't disappointed! this place is a must-go in vieux montreal.
The portion sizes are quite small for the price. My sister ordered the Atlantic Char for $35, and the fish was very small. Normally, that might be acceptable, but there were no other components to the dish except for a few finely chopped vegetables underneath the fish. She was still hungry after dinner. Additionally, they add olives to their Aperol Spritz, which gives it an odd taste.

Cute decor with a bar opening to the kitchen. Small plates easy to share. The charcuterie plate was delicious, I enjoyed the ragu sauce and burrata.It won 't reinvent Italian food but it was good. The real fun is pairing these plates with delicious wines as it is a buvette . Our server was very knowledgeable and provided great service.
I was surprised it wasn't busier because the food here was absolutely delicious! I had the mushroom pasta, and everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor without being too heavy. It's a cozy place, making it perfect for a meal with a friend. The service was also very attentive and friendly.
Très agréable endroit dans le vieux port. Même si la carte est plutôt courte, tous les plats sont délicieux, inventifs avec une explosion de saveur. Mention spéciale à la décoration et à l’ambiance chaleureuse. Peu de bruit malgré le site central. Service sympathique mais un peu débordé.
This is one of my favorite spots to go to when I'm in Old Port for work. The food is fantastic, and the portion sizes are just right. I've never had a bad meal here, and we always strive to try something new each time we visit. I can't wait for my next trip!
