This place has good food but horrible service. We are a local business that has ordered multiple times in the past. The last time we ordered, it was for breakfast and we placed our order just around 10am. When we ordered, nothing was stated about a long wait. We were ordering for 10 people. After almost an hour we called and they told us the driver was just leaving with the order. They are only 2 miles from us so after about 20 min we were concerned and called again. They said the driver was leaving soon. After another 15 min we called and they said the driver was on the road. He went to the wrong address (we gave our specific address) then about 12:15pm (2.25 hours later) we received cold food and an attitude from the driver! The owner later called us to apologize for the problem. Today we ordered again and we were told it would be a while and we said ok. Then the woman on the phone came out and said that it is not going to be that long but that they will not deliver to us because we were rude and did not tip the last time we ordered! We actually did tip and no one was rude to the driver. They canceled our order for today. This was fine as we do not need their food for this kind of hassle. How dare they say we were rude. We did tip but where does it say tips are mandatory. If it is mandatory then just state that you have a delivery charge! This place needs to wake up as they are in a customer service business!
So I went here on Saturday afternoon at 1130. There were a few people in the branch nothing crazy, but there was what seemed to be 3 roared employees. I don't know what was going on, but they were pleasant. The branch has run down and open friendly a rough inside not dirty pro just say not pleasing for the eye. There was deli meat sitting on a counter, I am sure it was cut right now, but was not returned to the ad and the meat on the slicer, which also had to be returned to the ad. All flesh in the ad was open and open what I found strange, but could just be how they do it. I bought two Italian Hoagies a turkey hoagie and a bag of chips it was 25.00 so... reasonable. The bread ruined it for us. These would have been very good locusts, but the bread was stale. My son wouldn't eat him. Overall it was good, but I probably wouldn't be back. On another occasion we had Mac salad, potato salad and Cole Slav. The Mac salad was good, but almost had too much Mayo. The potato salad was bland and did not have enough Mayo surprisingly. I enjoyed the Cole Slav. With a few updates and some quality control this place could be perfect for a weekday dinner.
I'm a fan of her cream cheese poppers. Your bread is very different from other places I tasted. It tasted super fresh and very lightly crunchy. The Jalapeños are not sharp at all. You have special 2 ham and cheese hoagie?s for $8 so a snack and it could feed 4 ppl. Her cheese steaks tasted good. Not fat. The Hoagie roll were super soft, the big slices of cheese steaks compliment. The pieces of meat are cut very thin. I'd make cheeses again here.
