I received quick and friendly service during my visit. I ordered the backyard burger, which, while flavorful, was smaller than expected. I was told it was a 12-ounce burger, but it felt more like 4 ounces before cooking. The meal included two sides: the fries, which were fresh, hot, and a generous portion, and mac and cheese, which was quite disappointing—only about 2-3 tablespoons. On the plus side, the fountain drinks came with free refills. I could have easily eaten two of the burgers. The restaurant itself was very clean and offered ample on-site parking.
I first met Mark and discovered Uncle Bub’s over 25 years ago when he catered a holiday party at a printing plant where I worked in Wheeling, IL, and the rest is history. Whether it's at the Naperville Rib Fest or the Rib Fest in St. Petersburg, Florida, Uncle Bub's always wins, no questions asked. It’s true BBQ love!

Our company recently hosted a picnic for about 50 people and had Uncle Bub’s Barbecue cater the event. Briana was incredibly helpful, providing a detailed quote and answering all my questions, making the entire process easy. The pickup was also smooth, with several staff members assisting in packing the food into my car. The food was excellent, and we received many compliments from our employees. Highly recommend Uncle Bub’s for any catering needs!
We used Uncle Bub’s to cater our daughter’s wedding last week! In one word…Delicious! In another word…Perfect!! They were so wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding day! On the wedding day, the setup at the wedding venue, the staff working the wedding, the food, the cleanup TOP NOTCH!! This pic is from one of the wedding guests on their socials! I visit Uncle Bob's every month, and I must say, the food is fantastic. My favorite dish is the half chicken with barbecue sauce, paired with cornbread. I also love the coleslaw and the mac and cheese. I highly recommend this restaurant as a great spot for a family outing, a casual meal, or even a date. Everything is delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
Went for Father’s Day, we were seated quickly. They had a special menu for the day, which was fine, I got the sampler platter, so that I could try everything. I enjoyed everything that was on the platter. Very nice place.

Brisket was just ok. It was sliced quite thick. Also it was extremely fatty. Flavor was great though. Sides were yummy

I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Sides were also delicious.
I had ribs and they were good, but not as good as I expected. Probably too dry.
