Just ordered a takeaway for myself and my son and I ended up throwing most of it away. The chicken chow mein was greasy, no flavour and the chicken looked questionable. It was just pure slime, it looked disgusting and I've never seen anything look so unappetising. Egg friend rice was fine, but then how can anyone balls up that? The salt and pepper chicken was that hot and spicy I gave up after 2 pieces. Considering they also have the cheek to put a service charge and charge for delivery (a lot of other takeaways in the area are free delivery within a certain mile radius FYI) when the food is poor is almost hilarious. So we really wanted a Chinese and with this one being the only one open for we thought we would give it a try as everyone seems to say good things (should’ve read trip advisor first The food arrived the bag was lovely and warm. Duck arrived with only cucumber which was ok but thought there would be spring onions too. Chow mein was just a sloppy tasteless dish the main dish was just full of water chesnuts and no other veg, watery sauce again tasteless. Absolute waste of money we did not enjoy it , it’s now in the bin should’ve just put £35 out for the bin men to collect! Please avoid
We are local and have used this place for take away, because they deliver, for years. Never great but acceptable. Tonight we ordered two Singapore Chow Mien’s, a dish we had ordered many times before. Both were uneatable because of the amount of chilli added. Hotter than a Vindaloo curry. We phoned to let them know and their response was poor. They said that is how they cook it it is not, we have had same dish many times) and we should ask for mild if we do not like it. Last time we will use them.
WARNING BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY Two weeks ago I tried to place an order online. I sent the order and got a message to say there was an error and to try again so I did and the same happened again. I then looked at my online banking to find I had been charge twice. I rang Uncle Chen and the said they hadn’t received the order. Saying they would contact the company who takes the payment and ask them to refund me. That was 2 weeks ago and still no refund.

In the area on Holiday Called in for a takeaway placed the order in the Bar and then had a great conversation with the locals while waiting for the food the locals and the Barman were so friendly. and the food was still hot when we got back to our cabin, the food was excellent and a good choice on the Menu, enjoyed so much we then had another takeawy a few days later and again banter at the bar and the food was excellent.
What a load of rubbish delivered. Cost £27 delivery man had no change so received £40. What did I get rubbish. They call that good service in these awful times I would say that is taking the out of the general public who now rely upon delivery of decent food. I have been a customer for some years and only once before Dec 2019 have I received such a load of garbage.
We ordered our delivered meals as a special treat my wife had a prawn dish and I duck. Both dishes were swimming in a very loose sauce, my wife's prawns she said were tasteless, my duck were just great gobbets, greasy and tough. Both of us gave up after just a few mouthfuls very disappointing! I can do better myself A total waste of money
I know this is the only Chinese takeaway open in Tewkesbury at the moment, because of the lockdown due to the corona virus, but please avoid this place we just had a delivery, and it was terrible!! Dehydrated reheated rubbish probably leftover from yesterday. Avoid!!

Brilliant food and they deliver to Upton upon Severn. Always top quality food and delivered on time. Definitely worth checking out.
Absolutely horrible a total waste of money inedible not impressed dry tasteless rubbish shall not use them ever again
