Uncle Harry's Deli

Cozy really is the best way to describe this place. The way the place is decorated has a certain sense of nostalgia, and really makes me think of happier times growing up. Can definitely feel the love coming from all those family pictures!Now the food is also fantastic. One of the best Reuben sandwiches I've had in the Detroit area. The potatoe salad was also delicious. We also got onion rings which were crunchy and seasoned generously.Will for sure be coming back to try some of the other sandwich options!

Cozy place with great food. Sit in a booth or belly up to the dining counter. Love the atmosphere. Great menu with lots of comfort food. The grilled pastrami on rye, with a dash of hot deli mustard, was excellent. Definitely give it a go. Parking: Free parking around back of the restaurant. Parking appears to be limited. It was not crowded on the day that I came for lunch, but I could see that a lunch rush might cause parking difficulties.

I must have caught them on an off day. How have they received 4.7 stars? Soup-bland, bread was so thin that after they toasted it, smashed it together to cut it, that the sandwich was like eating bland meat between 2 crackers. The pickle was more like a slice of cucumber… no pickling spice or flavor at all. I don’t get it the high rating ?‍Atmosphere was awesome…. It has that going for it.

Uncle Harry’s is the best deli on the East Side of metro Detroit with amazing deli food. It alsoHas style: photos of Harry and his family and famous visitors are all over. My favorite is the Donna (corned beef, pastrami, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing). Also love the pickles and the soup. Réservez une table maintenant

Always a great sandwich! They are packed with meat and the flavor is outstanding. Kid-friendliness: They offer a kid's menu.
