Nasi Lemak with Chicken Curry. We had a meal. I ordered nasi lemak with chicken curry, they gave me beef curry. I wasn't sure whether it was beef or chicken. My husband confirmed it was chicken. The more I ate, the more I realised it was beef. I didn't eat the last piece. I didn't enjoy the meal. I should have reconfirmed with them. Anyway, I was very disappointed with the wrong dish. They apologised and wanted to give chicken, I said it was too late Don't think I will go back there again.
I am looking forward to trying onkel jim, ordered take-away-Rind-Rendang stir fry veg in sambal. the first disappointment, the bark was hard, which is a cardinal sin with rendang. then I pulled out of the rendang two very long hairs. first mouthful of veg stir fry I bit in a bit very hard (a rock I suspect) which then scattered into a million pieces, very happy, no teeth to damage. at this time I had lost my appetit and fed everything in the müll. all in all a very bad experience.
good everyday Malaysian/singaporean restaurant in northern beaches. faster service and convenient location. love their crispy garnel, but a bit expensive 18 for 4pcs) their hainanese chicken rice is tasty, but shame that the rice is not included and it is served without ginger condition and suppe on the side. Uncle Jim started cooking in Penang and has cooked and consulted all over the world including for Petaling street and Sedap. Just opened in March but so far so good. Generally authentic food on this sitting aside from the apple salad which we think is more Thai (although Penang has a fair bit of Thai).
The food at this restaurant is excellent, especially during lunchtime. We tried the chicken laksa and charkway teow, and both dishes were fantastic! This place is a hidden gem and we were pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend paying them a visit.
Don't judge this restaurant by its appearance alone, as it may not reflect the quality of the food. Despite the unassuming exterior, the dining experience is actually quite good. Give it a try for a tasty Asian lunch option.
Hainanese Chicken. Tender steamed chicken served with rich chicken flavour rice. It is one of the World's most delicious dishes. Réservez une table maintenant
The food at this restaurant is excellent. The Laksa and chicken rice are both incredible.

"Great atmosphere and food. Feels like a family restaurant which is rare so close to the city and in an area that's full of places that are probably "trendier""
