Uncle John's Place

We are from out of town and decided to check this place out since it was one of the top rated restaurants in the area. I read on another review about staff not being friendly or 'bubbly ' and I could agree slightly but that doesn 't mean they were rude or poor servers. We came as a party of 6 and they got us a table ready right away and it wasn 't that bad of a wait for our food to come out. All our food came out together and it was all hot and fresh and that 's not even bragging about the food quality. The handcut fries are amazing all on their own and worth going just for that. I’ve been going here since I was in the womb (my mother was a server in the 90s here) and just love all the memories of growing up with John running the place. I was a sucker (pun intended) for the lollipops he always kept for us kids. Though they got an awesome face lift when son, Nick, took over; the food remains the absolute top quality.with the original flavors. Uncle John’s not only serves the memory of John himself, but of our families and community gathering over the years. 20/10 would recommend.

I've driven by this place a million times and decided to stop for lunch. Was very busy but wow was it worth the short wait. Service was excellent and food was so delicious. Burger and Reuben with hand cut fries that weren't in the least bit greasy. We will definitely be back

Ate here while we were visiting Mansfield for a couple days. The atmosphere is nice, the staff was friendly and the food was good. We both got steak and it was amazing!! The Long Iand teas were very good, too. I highly recommend this place. Réservez une table maintenant

It's a nice little local spot that serves very tasty food and has a friendly service staff. It's still in a small downtown location so it can be cramped but it's got a great history.

Home cooked meal. We went there for lunch and i had the best soup and blt ever. i have also had their flilet mignon and it was the best. this place is a locals little secret.

My son and I love eating here! The food is amazing and the service is always great. Love the chill and dark atmosphere as it’s very comfortable especially in a booth!
