No comment on food as I was only there for drinks. Drinks were actually good. Pricey...kinda. They were good enough that I didn 't mind the price. Staff was cool and respectful. I went during non busy hours. Sometimes there live music. Cool date spot, hangout spot, study spot etc. Perfect for those its a vibe people , I only do safe spaces people , omg you cant say that people and just about anyone else lol. I would definitely go back multiple times. Its located in skrt kf a mini market area so there 's othere stores nearby. Definitely worth a check if you 're local and/or visiting. Add it to your list.
Understory was the ideal location for a surprise engagement party with 50 guests! Debi and her team stepped in when our original venue fell through, and in less than a week, we were able to create something truly special. The bar staff at our event were attentive and incredibly friendly, crafting some fantastic cocktails. The appetizer bites were also delicious! I can't thank Debi and her team enough for their quick responses and attentiveness. They are such a wonderful group to work with!
We’ve been to Understory multiple times and love the atmosphere and location! This visit was fun because we had dinner in one of the greenhouses on the patio which was a fun holiday vibe. The Paloma was great and we enjoyed the salmon dip, tomato soup, and fried chicken bowl the most. Some of the other dishes were good but lot as great.We appreciate the way they host various events and utilize their spaces to keep people coming back!
We hosted a Client Appreciation Event in the Fieldhouse and it was a huge success! The history of Understory was a great talking point and the service was incredible. We appreciated the flexibility and attention to detail throughout the entire process. If hosting an event there again, we would spring for the Valet service as the parking lot does fill up. Food and drinks are 10/10!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I absolutely loved the “commons” area on the lower level. It has a relaxed atmosphere where you can hang out, play some games, and easily order food and drinks at the window. The appetizers were all fantastic! Plus, it's great that it connects to the Olentangy Trail!
I took my wife here after dinner on our date night. Atmosphere is really cool and the drinks were great! I really like their Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. I had never had this, apparently classic, drink, but it was very strong and delicious!
Was there for a party and the food they catered was delicious. Only complaint is the lack of parking and their parking lot was way too small. Difficult to back out and turn around in their lot. Had difficulty finding parking.
This restaurant is fantastic! It has a wonderful location and convenient parking. The hamburgers were delicious, and I enjoyed sitting in the heated greenhouses.

Great food. Building was nice. Beautiful views.. chef parker did a great job. I'm coming back for brunch!!
The old fashioned is delightful and the ambiance is lovely. The service is very friendly and prompt.
