Unidad A Latin Kitchen

I don't know why it took usbso long to try it, but I am so glad we did! At about 4pm, there was no one there, but the tables filled up quickly. We were lucky to get there when we did. My husband had the risotto and it was the best risotto I have ever had, loaded with garlic and cheesy deliciousness! I had a Venezuelan dish with plantains. The masa was so very light and filling, the plantains cooked to perfection! If you drink, try the El Sol! I am so pleased this place is right in out neighborhood, perfect for all occasions! Great food and drinks, great service! We are looking forward to trying other dishes and bringing family and friends!

Make sure not to buy gift cards for this restaurant because all of a sudden they will make up excuses not to accept them. Over the winter they made up a rule that you couldn’t use them on carry outs with no further explanation besides it was the owners choice and now they just randomly aren’t accepting gift cards and claim because they are switching to a new system. I have never heard of another restaurant in the area that has any issues honoring gift cards. When I questioned it the restaurant responded that gift cards were not the same as money and they could choose how/when to honor them but don’t we pay for gift cards with money??!

07/2023 First time eating here! Dined in ! Food was delicious had the shrimp tocos beans and rice 1 guest had oxtails tocos 2nd had steak tocos we all ordered appetizers and non alcoholic beverages ! All was delicious and fulfilling no complaints! Service was attentive and kind! 1 of the owners came to our table and introduced himselfAnd welcomed us as well as wanted our feedback on the food he left one of my guest with a card for her to use on her next visit 4 recommending us to eat here being it was her 2nd time ! Will definitely dine here again!

The drinks were great. The food was solid; the “Unidad Burger” was just okay, the “Venezuelan Arepas con Platanos” were decent. Their staff was friendly. It’s a beautiful place, though the main dining area had a smell. I’d return for drinks in their patio maybe to try their tacos.Food: 4/5

Absolutely wonderful outdoor dining atmosphere. Went on a Thursday evening to find not only amazing drinks and food, but they also had live music.Food: 5/5
