During a business trip to Brunswick, ME, we discovered Union Street Bakery and we were so thankful that we did. My breakfast sandwich on homemade focaccia was absolutely delicious, with fluffy eggs, cheese, avocado, tomato, and salad. The owner was incredibly friendly and the establishment had a cozy, homey atmosphere with a professional menu and sweet staff. My partner had the blueberry scone, which was incredibly fluffy and pie-like, and didn't last long in the car before it was devoured. We will definitely be returning when we are in town again. As a first-time customer, I was extremely pleased with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter on a busy holiday weekend and it was absolutely fantastic! The lemon blueberry ginger flavor was perfectly balanced and the icing was not too overpowering. The staff was lovely and provided excellent service. For our wedding we ordered a two layer lemon raspberry cake that fed about 50 people. We decorated it with flowers and it turned our beautiful. We also picked up a small red velvet birthday cake as it was our best man's birthday the same day as our wedding Both cakes were delicious! People RAVED about the Lemon raspberry. It was perfect. Oh my oh my oh my! What an unanticipated treat. I went in for some fair trade organic coffee and discovered a mini gluten free carrot cake. I set out to eat just 1/2 of it, but it is so light and delicious, I don’t know if I can restrain myself and save 1/2 for later! Delightful place. I’ll be back.
The sandwiches and salads are consistently fresh and delicious at this restaurant. The baked goods are also great. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. We have visited multiple times and have never been let down by any of our orders. The service is friendly and efficient.
Great food and super cute space but rude owner who scolded us for not seeing the mask sign. Did not need to be rude about it and made the experience unpleasant.

great place to breakfast. everything was super fresh. no espresso machine, but the coffee is very good. a lot of space in the interior and exterior.
I love their egg breakfast sandwich. Also, the German chocolate cake is to die for. I loved it! I think this is a nice place to stop!
