We decided to stay and ordered some appetizers, willing to pay more for them. However, we were then asked by a young staff member if we wanted menus, even though there were four of us. We requested a high chair for our 2-year-old and then waited for quite some time as multiple waiters and a hostess walked past us without acknowledging our presence. Eventually, I had to get up and ask if they had a children's menu, only to be told they did not. We decided to leave at that point, as no one bothered to seat us or take our order.
I hope this restaurant closes down because it gives North Phoenix a bad reputation. We ended up going to another restaurant in Times Square where we had a great meal...
It can be difficult to get a beer at this restaurant. The pizza is decent, similar to Grimaldi's style, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. However, the key to this type of pizza for me is the crust, which is just okay. The pizza was a bit floppy in the middle and the crust was too thin and chewy for my liking, but overall still good. A tip: don't believe them when they say a large pizza is thin, as it is actually quite filling. The Mozzarella appetizer is unique, baked in a very thin layer of pizza dough. Personally, I am not a fan (prefer it shredded), but can see why others may enjoy it. In terms of price, it is more expensive than other options like Barro or Venezia, but still...
I've been here for years. The atmosphere is not bad, but it tends to be a little dark like a lounge. Food is good, service is always good and the staff is always ready to have a TV on all the sports you want. The music game could be better. The bar usually has a lot of 35, but they play pop or top 40 hits. It is important to us to hear this music. Read the room and play what people want there. Country or Classic Rock is the best way to go. People could stay longer if the music is good. This is not the old town of Scottsdale!
First time at this place and was not disappointed. Everything was great and tasty! Ordered pizza and wings the pizza has such a great flavor and the meat, cheese, and sauce are really good. The young man who helped us was very helpful nice and gave us great service. The wings were juicy delicious sauce tasted great to the point we did not touch our blue cheese they were that good and flavorful on their own. Definitely recommend and will be back!!

Good beer and wine selection. Service was excellent. There's a restaurant area, and a bar area, separated by a door which i liked. Food was good! Thin crust pizza is very good. I noticed some complaints about the pizza being soggy. For those that don't know, that's the nature of thin crust after it's been sitting around a while. You gotta eat it up while it's nice and hot the way thin crust is supposed to be eaten. Just saying.
My friend and I were thrilled to visit this restaurant after many years. Our dining experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, as always. Nate, our server, was laid-back and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. The appetizers and drinks made us feel right at home. We can't wait to come back next time!
This place reminds me of Cheers. I've been to Upper about 5 times and when I walk in they know my name and have a beer waiting. Their Pizza is Amazing and their Wings, the best! Reasonable Prices, Fantastic Servers, and just all around fun! You want Sports?? This is a fantastic place to watch.
Table service is inconsistent, so bar seating is the best bet. Great food for soy allergies and ciliacs!! Try the stuffed mushrooms, Greek salad with grilled chicken and oil vinegar AND the cauliflower pizza! They have gluten friendly beer to boot!!
