I returned to this restaurant after a 10 year hiatus after a previous bad experience in December 2009. This time however the staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable. The head mixeologist/ beverage manager knew his stuff.. was able to create a non alcoholic version of one of the special cocktails, explained the menu in detail answered all our questions we were a party of 5) wine recommendations also excellent for those that drank with their lunch. Food wise OMG devine, decadent, gorgeous overstuffed as we could not stop eating the absolute perfect steaks served. Myself and my husband shared a portion of prawns in garlic butter ,starter) with our main course a Welsh Black New York Strip.....

Great Steaks. Been here now a few times to celebrate special family occasions. Absolutely great steaks. Excellent service and very helpful staff. Highly recommend but you need to book well in advance for Fir/Sat nights.

Very good dining experience. Excellent service and the waiters have great knowledge of the menu. The food is also very good with some quirky ways of serving some of the dishes. Will go again!
A individualised experience for each guest. We had a number of people with allergies and the staff handled it with care and class. A lovely environment and outstanding food!
The restaurant is a lovely spot with a charming ambiance. However, it was a bit misleading that we were not seated upstairs as the name implies.
The Sunday roast was perfect and the service was great. Upstairs is a bit more private, and the Gents is a must-see. Well done.
