Uptown is now under new management and has received some fresh updates to its interior. The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were perfectly sized. I chose the lunch special and was really happy with my panini. The service was attentive and excellent. Drink prices were reasonable, and they have a nice selection of mid-range and top-shelf options. I have always liked this place, but it now has a more upscale feel while remaining budget-friendly. I will definitely be coming back!
Live music and a friendly atmosphere make this place a must-visit when you're in this beautiful city. Everything was fantastic, from the service to the drinks. If you're looking to enjoy the nightlife, I highly recommend heading to Uptown. Arrive after 8 PM and ask for Ariel. If my experience is anything to go by, you'll receive prompt and almost personalized service while having an amazing time. I give it a perfect 10/10!
Uptown has a distinctive charm that’s hard to put into words. The menu showcases a diverse range of influences and styles, and I’ve never had a disappointing meal there. My only criticism is that, while the drink selection is good, I tend to favor a few local bars for drinks instead of Uptown. Therefore, I think of it as a fantastic spot for dinner before heading out to enjoy the rest of the evening elsewhere.
I finally had the opportunity to have lunch here, and it exceeded my expectations! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with helpful recommendations. The food was freshly prepared, served in generous portions, and tasted fantastic. I will definitely return when I can secure a spot, as this place tends to be very busy during evenings and weekends. I couldn't decide between the fish chips or the reuben. I went with the fish chips and wish I hadn't. The breading was good but the fish was a pretty thick piece and was really underdone and mushy. They offered to remake it or replace it. Husband had the burger and said it was outstanding. Great service, clean establishment. Will definitely be back for the reuben!
The service and food were both excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The only minor drawback was that there were a lot of flies, which was a bit bothersome. Additionally, it would be nice if they offered a dipping sauce with the sweet potato fries. Overall, it's a lovely place, and I will definitely come back!
The service was excellent, and the food portions were generous. We tried the fried tomato appetizer for the first time, and they were quite tasty with a unique flavor. The po' boy steak sandwich was cooked to perfection—kudos to the chef! The beer was enjoyable, and the wings were great as well.
I do not believe there is a better hamburger in a 15 mile radius surrounding Uptown Tap. Burger was cooked perfectly. Pickles are top notch. Restaurant is always spotless with staff that is friendly and fun. I could not be more satisfied with my visit. Réservez une table maintenant
I visited on a Thursday night to experience the open jam session. The music was diverse, although I had some difficulty hearing the singers clearly at times. The drink prices were fair, and I particularly enjoyed the small Scotto wine.
