Uptown Pizza - Réservation de table

Called for delivery pizzas while visiting friends on Saltspring. I suggested going to get it, since they live in a slightly off the road kind of place. The phone call was a hoot as whoever answered the phone asked me to hold on and then put the phone down on the counter, I guess, as I then got to listen to lots of crashes and bangs and the owner (I'm told) and another woman talking to other customers and each other. Funny! After about 5 minutes the woman picked up the phone and apologized for the delay and took the order. The delivery took a while, but the pizza was still reasonably warm and tasted very fresh and very good.

Today was my first visit to Uptown Pizza and most definitely the last. The restaurant was had a very bad odour so much so that my husband & I ate our food in the car. The counter to order food is at the front of the restaurant near the open doors, so the smell with slight. As we walked towards the seating area the smell got really bad, it could have been coming from the bathroom but there is also a bottle return & a recycling centre next door so the smells could have been mingling. I was not able to seat down but my husband sat down to wait for the food and brought it out to the car. The food was greasy.

We stopped visiting Uptown Pizza a few years ago when we found a piece of a food prep. glove (the full end of a finger) in a pizza we had ordered and picked up. When we brought it to their attention all we got was a shrug. Decided to give them another try recently because their pizzas are pretty good. Ordered by phone for delivery. Delivery took far too long (ordered at 4:30 pm was not delivered till 5:50 pm). Gave credit card info over the phone but the driver insisted on charging at the door. Won't be going back.

Was not my first choice for pizza as the other place was closed for the stat holiday. Purchased a meat lovers with extra cheese that we ate at our B&B. Was a little greasy but not bad tasting, tasted much better reheated the next day. Reminded me of food court pizza's or some store's take and bake pizza's but with more toppings. If you must have pizza this will do but nothing to get excited about. Average Pizza. Réservez une table maintenant

We heard this place had pizza by the slice. The four slices left (at 630 pm) looked like they had been there for a few weeks. The guy working there said nothing about more coming but he basically said nothing in general. We were with a 7-year-old who was starving so we got a piece each. Maybe we followed a big rush, but I've been to a LOT of pizza joints and this one is one of the worst.

Connecting Ferries cutting through Salt Spring. Spotted Uptown Pizza and gave it a try. Blown away by unexpected fabulous pizza in off beaten track. Great pizza at reasonable price, I would recommend uptown.

We were very tired our first night so we just ordered pizza to the room. Two medium pizzas were both good, but gave us more than enough for lunch and a late snack the next day.

Nice variety of pizza combos! Crust is light and delicious. Some good options are pesto and artichoke, Canadian bacon, Hawaiin or shrimp.

Painfully average pizza. Price is fairly high for what is is, and the pizza itself has no personality or no redeeming characteristics.
