We went today for my hubby's bday reservation made the same day. We wanted to move out from the centre as it seemed more of a Tourist type of venues.The place is settled by the sea, it's very nice and airy, the terrace overlooking the port makes the magic. We love seafood therefor we went for seafood cream soup which was nice but could have been thicker at least this is how I like it( my father is a chef so perhaps I was spoiled during my childhood) however the flavours where there. My half went for octupus a la Gallega which is made with a Spanish typical spice, it was wonderful flavourful I really recommend it. The location and restaurant is very well, one of the best, not to say the best of the city. We got 3 starters, Anchois were correct but expensives, the fish soup, made with excellent mixed of products but not filtered enough, and not salted at all ....what a pity ! The various panned calamars were excellents. To follow,we had fish brochettes made with good products, but the cocking was too much and too dry... unbelievable in Spain; where we spent 10 days and had everywhere just perfect cocking at the difficult limit of just enough cook. It is a pity, because it is a very nice place and with more minutes 'care from the chief we would have had a marvelous diner. I would recommend this restaura...
Mi economía, por desgracia, no esta para visitar muy a menudo este establecimiento, pero, cuando tengo que celebrar algo importante, mi primera opción casi siempre, es ponerme en manos de “Lupe y su equipo”. Podrás comer un poco mejor o un poco menos mejor, pero siempre te vas con la sensación de haber estado en familia. Ser tratado con comprensión, cariño y respeto como en Urdín, no es tan habitual como seria deseable en el gremio de la restauración, a lo mejor, la saturación actual tiene algo que ver. Yo, resumiendo, sigo apostando por este lugar para los momentos de gran celebración.
We really enjoyed our lunch with the prime table in the left corner for two overlooking the view of the river through the clear glass. We had excellent serving from Lupe, who served us our chosen aperativ and then allowed exactly the right time for us to choose our food. We had the sharing salad for 18.50E which included crab, anchovies, tuna and lettuce. Then we shared a brochette of monkfish, squid and prawns. The seafood was all delicious and quite substantial so we were very happy and fulfilled. The Segrel Alborino was a perfect wine to accompany the meal.

We stopped here for lunch- an out of the way restaurant with a nice setting. We shared a salad the ensalada Urdin and then had duck. The quality of both was very good but it was a good job we weren't hungry as the potions were small. With water and two coffees after the came to 50 euros- which after having lived on Menu Del Dia for quite a few days seemed very expensive!
Muy buen precio de calidad y la atención del personal a la altura de un gran lugar. buenas vistas, estricto cumplimiento de las regulaciones de covid en términos de distancias, máscaras, etc. ¡Vamos a repetir!
Hemos celebrado un evento familiar en la Marisqueria Urdin. Hemos comido fenomenal, y la atención de principio a fin ha sido sobresaliente. Son muy amables y profesionales.
Es una maravilla, tanto el pescado como el marisco que te ofrecen están de lujo, y la atención es muy agradable, está todo buenísimo y está una zona muy tranquila.

excellent food and wonderful staff treatment. they even put a luxurious bowl with water on my dog. the Irish coffee of the best I've ever had.
