Excellently seasoned, spiced, and balanced Indian food with diverse options. Their Naan and curries are some of the best I 've had, and didn 't suffer from overertly oily textures that often plague Indian food due to phase separation in the many dishes with high unsaturated fat content. Their waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating, and is very conscious of table and drink settings. The atmosphere is a bit quirky and colorful, but nice in its own way. If I could complain a little it would be over being served a spoiled/rancid IPA, but that is a common failure even in bars that claim to serve craft beer .

This restaurant never disappoints. The food and drinks are always fantastic. Sometimes they even give you extra food to take home or a complimentary dessert. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the high quality of the food and the additional perks more than make up for it. In general, this restaurant was good. The service was excellent and the menu had a lot of choices. I was looking for Dosa, but it wasn't available. My dish was tasty, but a bit sweet, which was a surprise. The Naan was not great as it didn't have the traditional tandoor oven flavor - it was thin and dry. However, the dessert was fantastic.
Amazing food here, one of the best places in the area! We came from Avon and it was worth the ride. Kudos to the owner for everything on the lively Diwali night. He was so friendly and accommodating all night. Leading a restaurant these days is hard, but she? letting it work in Utsav. We?
The food was delicious and the cocktails were good. The garlic and chili Naan was particularly tasty. Despite our large group, we received attentive service. While it wasn't inexpensive, we felt that we got what we paid for and were very satisfied. We will definitely return.
I live in NJ, 3 hours drive from Utsav. I think I'm familiar with Indian cuisine (I live near Edison, NJ). Whenever I have to go to MA, I try to stop in Utsav for a meal because the food is beautiful and the menu is very diverse. In addition, it is practically I-84.
