When I received my first paycheck, I only got $60 for training. I let it go, not wanting to come off as the annoying new employee. However, in my second paycheck, I was paid only $150 for 24 hours of work. I reached out to Jess (one of the owners) for clarification, but she completely ignored me. I then contacted Brianna (the co-owner), who informed me that I was only receiving commission, not an hourly wage—this contradicted the contract I had signed. According to her logic, I was effectively making just $6.25 an hour, which is far below Connecticut's minimum wage and illegal. I felt completely deceived. I would advise others to stay away!
I walked into this establishment and was blown away by the wide variety of shakes and teas to choose from. The staff was very friendly, and actually helped me to finally make a decision on what shake and tea to choose. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to get some protein shakes and teas to help keep your body and mind in shape.
I will never patronize this restaurant again. The owners are dishonest and pay their employees far below the minimum wage, often under the table. These practices could lead to serious consequences for them. I hope they reconsider their business methods. Réservez une table maintenant
