Notre première nuit à Mouries et pas entièrement familiarisés, nous avons donc tenté notre chance dans cet endroit sans réservation. Bien que dans les jardins de l'hôtel, le restaurant se trouve dans un bâtiment complètement séparé et nous étions assez tôt pour éviter la foule de gens bien habillés plus tard. En fait, le personnel était parfaitement amical et coopératif et nous a trouvé une belle table sur la terrasse naturelle impressionnante, un peu comme manger dans une clairière boisée en gradins. La terrine de légumes avec sauce tomate froide était une entrée inhabituelle mais cela a fonctionné. J'ai opté pour un plat principal plus traditionnel, un filet au poivre. Certainement très po...
C'est un endroit pour les amateurs de viande. Le barbecue vertical produit des merveilles. Le personnel expérimenté sait comment présenter un steak. Certains d'entre nous préfèrent quelque chose entre saignant et bien cuit. Demandez et vous obtiendrez à point. Le personnel est bon. Les hôtes sont... merveilleux. Commencez au bar d'accueil près de la cheminée et dirigez-vous vers le bar du restaurant pour passer votre commande. Tout sera parfait une fois que vous arriverez à votre table. Profitez-en.
Very nice steaks cooked on an open wood fired hob in the restaurant. Seasonal items on the menu, superb quality of food, low prices. 8 oz fillet steak au poivre, with chips, starter plus dessert ~50 Euros. Service is excellent. Definitely recommend. I stayed...at the attached for 2 weeks and ate here ~10 times. No point in going elsewhere when you have food of this quality in the hotel.
that was our second year here. we were in the hotel for 3 nights the host are so inviting, the breakfast is amazing, everything is local and fresh and eggs/bascon are cooked to order. on the afternoon we have taken from the beautiful quiet pool. the restaurant is a good opportunity to finish the day! many thanks to delphine and william for their beautiful place and gast friendship.
it was a fabulous surprise to eat in this restaurant recommended by prune when we stayed in their airbnb. great location and very elegant environment . the massive grill where everything is made flesh is even remarkable for a visit. the service., eating and drinking were all excellent and the children still consider it the best meal of the holiday.
Nous avons dû attendre très longtemps pour avoir notre viande, elle était de très haute qualité mais ne compensait pas les quelque quarante-cinq minutes passées à attendre. Nous étions effectivement un groupe assez important, composé de plus de dix personnes, et les desserts étaient également sympas, mais combien de temps ?
