This was a great place to spend our last night on Long Island. The staff was a couple of really friendly young guys who waited on us hand and foot, despite not having anyone to work the tables. We had the Salted Caramel Mules, which were absolutely delicious. I wish I had had time to have a couple more. I had the coconut shrimp, which was cooked to perfection, and my husband had a nice, juicy burger with crispy fries. All of our food was steaming hot. Food was excellent, as was the service. The only issue was the full nightclub level music that was playing. I couldn’t speak to anyone at my table, I could barely think straight the music was so incredibly loud. It was only 9pm. Having never been there before, that may just be the vibe of the place. It is definitely a bar that serves food, but they could tone down the music in the dining areas while it is full of diners. Service: Dine in
Working with “The Wharf” has exceeded our expectations. The staff and management has been incredibly accommodating, not just the day of the event, but also during the planning process. Went last week for the first time for drinks and had shrimp tacos and it was great. We decided to go back today and the food was so bad.. baked clams was a goop of mush in a clam. Worst baked clams ever.. sliced steak sandwich was tough and cold. Picture 2 day old gray steak with hard mozzarella cheese on it.. even the fries were too burnt to eat.. service was slow and waitress was MIA. Service: Dine in
