Vantre - Réserver une table

Unpolite, unprofessional ! Just the pretentious Paris we all hate. The place is always full and they got a bit too confident. Booked a table at 21h, came exactly on time and the waitress told me my table has been given away ! How rude is that ! Table has been confirmed by me per mail a week before and they told me that they tried to call me to see if I was still coming... As an educated person, I always call when I can 't come and do understand that it 's not fair for restaurants when people don 't do so, it 's really annoying for the restaurant but you can 't just sent away people that have a booking in your place !

Quelle déception! J'attendais avec impatience ma visite au "Vantre". Ayant tellement entendu parler de ce lieu. Quelle douche froide. Je suis arrivé un peu en retard mais j'ai appelé deux fois pour les prévenir. Je suis arrivé à 13h30. Je ne me suis pas du tout senti accueilli. Le service et la nourriture étaient le strict minimum. Ces gens oublient ce qu'est un bistrot et sur quoi il repose : l'humanité et la générosité! Réveillez-vous, gens!

It is not located in the most popular neighbourhood, very small place, but the food was very delicious and well presented , the chef is Japanese so the French cuisine was added with some Japanese influence. A great selection of wine can be found there as well, definitely will go there again!

A repeat visit, largely unchanged. Décor the same. Warm, casual, welcome the same. Ditto prices, wine focus. Food, menu still very nice, if in no way memorable, as they probably intend.

Food and ambiance were great and the owner and chef made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in Paris!
