I came from the US to visit our daughter. The first place she took me was Vapiano's. It's a fun atmosphere with great food and great service. I think I had the best iced cappuccino I have ever had! They put a splash of vanilla and raw sugar in it. The coffee they use is Illy (one of my favorites) I had a creat your own pastas with fresh bread and and cappuccino. The cost was 13 euro.Day 5.... I came back. This time I had the same dish (the cook remembered my face and my order... impressive!) This time I had a glass of wine. I say 14 euro is a great price! I loved all this place has to offer. I highly recommend Vapiano. My experience was wonderful!
This is a great experience for foodies and families. Huge prep/cooking area where you can see pizzas, pasta, and salads get prepared. Focus on fresh ingredients including little pots with rosemary and basil at each table. Nice (small) play area for kids; maybe there is more than one, I didn't see the entire restaurant, it has 2 dining sections. Loved the thin crust pizza, nicely browned. Carbonara pasta was a little dry and needed smokier ham. Reef and beef salad was hearty. Beef was super tender, shrimp was small and not that flavorful. Too much dressing so ask to go light if you don't want a puddle of soggy greens towards the end of your bowl.
I went there twice so far, once with a friend and once with my husband. Both times the food was delicious and the cooks were really friendly and funny as well. The first time it was quiet so things didn't take that long at all. The second time it was a bit different, as we wanted different dishes. So my husband was already ready and sitting down and it took me 15 minutes until I could join him. So that did not work out so well. But over all a good experience and we will most likely be back
Nice Italian where you are given a card on entry go to servery to get a menu then order your food at the appropriate bar, charges are then put on card which is swiped at exit and the you pay the bill. Simple and easy, we had Beef & Reef salad and Greco Salad both nice and fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a visit and we will go again.
