Walked up the stairs and found there was a location to walk up and order (with a menu in German) or a place with kiosks to manually enter your order which had a menu in English, Dutch, or German. We chose to order from the kiosk as we don 't read or speak German. I ordered the mista piccola and the gamberetti spinici. The mista piccola was advertised as a mixed leaf salad with carrots and tomatoes and the picture on the kiosk was a variety of dark green and purple mix. I had visited several Vapianos when I was working in Germany and loved the concept. You get a card which is scanned at various stations food (pizza, pasta, salads) and drinks (full bar). This location....not so much. We came here for dinner on our first night in Vienna because it was really close to our apartment and we were pretty much dead after an international flight an afternoon of exploring. It's definitely popular with locals, particularly students from the nearby campus. Prices are reasonable and the food is pretty tasty. What's the issue? German Italian food in Austria. Who woulda thunk it?!?! I like the concept of the place (am sure somebody mentioned that in another review) and the food is OK but damn, sometimes they 're just so slow in the pasta line. Is it worth the wait? Sometimes. Ein Vapiano wie beinahe jedes andere auch. Sauber und strukturiert. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war lecker und selbstverständlich, wie immer, frisch zubereitet. Das Ambiente im oberen Stockwerk ist angenehm und bietet eine schöne Aussicht Drumherum.

Das Essen war sehr gut, einzig und allein die Wartezeit könnte weniger sein. Die Köche hinter der Theke sind zum Teil maßlos überfordert, da sie zu zweit etliche Bestellungen abarbeiten müssen. Ansonsten schönes Restaurant mit schönem italienischem Flair inmitten Wiens.
Wie alle Vapiano Restaurants mit schönem Ambiente. Bedienung freundlich, meine Pizza war groß und lecker. Auch wenn hier Gemütlichkeit das Motto ist, war die Wartezeit kurz. Rundum stehen Essig Öl und Gewürze kostenlos zur Verfügung. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.
For a no fuss and delicious fresh pasta meal, this is a perfect venue. The pasta is cooked to your liking the pesto with cheese is a must experience. If pizza is more your bite, then try the Diablo with the sausage red onions. The bite really packs a punch.
Delicious pesto pizza!! The location is convenient and it was quite crowded both times that I went. I thought the prices were reasonable given the fact that you're getting some delicious food. They also have a bunch of pasta options.
