the only open restaurant in varen, I went to dinner there. I had a very good cream soup made from a certain white grapes. for my head, I had a spicy and rosti, a kind of potato pancake. while the sausage was good, the...roesti was too thin and thus overcooked and fried in too much oil. the white wine from the region was good. the price was sufficient. the service was not very attentive, but acceptable.

A typical Swiss Valais restaurant in the village Varen. They have a daily menu or a la carte. The food was really good and appetizing. The service is also good.
