Varus im Romantik Hotel Arminius

The restaurant is built in a complex of older houses and newer buildings to look like older houses on the market edge in the center of Bad Salzuflen. It looks really cool, and the interior is also very neat. There is a steep staircase from the road to the restaurant, but it is also wheelchair accessible through the hotel lobby. Street parking? Maybe, but there's a garage between the hotel entrance and the restaurant. The wine list is very nice and you should be able to find exactly what you need. The menu is not expansive, but there is a good choice of different types of food. We took the menu, three courses that were very good. The Starter Fresh Supper from Gardenherbs is also recommended as the homemade chocolate mousse on fruit. We were a little disappointed at the service. Not that it was bad, it was not, but the dining room, and I think there are 3 or 4, are on different levels of the old building, and when a waiter goes to help a diner in another room, he is gone, and there is no way to win his attention. We didn't have to wait after each course, he was very attentive to see that we were killed, but after dessert and coffee it was difficult to attract attention, like and where we took care of our bill. (It's in the cash register as in the USA. We had a wonderful, enjoyable dinner and will be next trip to Bad Salzuflen back.

4 friends and I visited the place upon recommendation of the manager of the restaurant of the Golf Club in Bad Salzuflen. After the drinks, we shared a couple of bottles of German red wine. One had fish and the other 4 had Chateaubriand. Everyone went for the dessert variation . All was to expectations and we ended up with a really reasonable bill €50 pp).

I was her with colleagues. ENtering into the restaurant is really nice and special. The food is pretty good but nothing special. The wine chart is pretty extensive, The service is good but too slow.

The restaurant offers high quality cuisine in a very cosy environment. Full Westfalisch menu gives you plenty of great tastes of the local specialties. A place to enjoy long evenings!
