We decided on the spur of the moment that we really, really fancied a genuine curry as opposed to the pre packaged ones from the local supermarket. After a bit of Googling we decided on the Vasai and off we went. We arrived at 17.45 pm to an empty restaurant which on a freezing foggy night was no surprise. We were met by a friendly member of staff and sat in a corner and given menus and that was it for around 30 minutes. We kept glancing around to try and catch someone’s eye but to no avail, we latterly decided that perhaps the chef hadn’t turned up as yet. Eventually we managed to order popadoms, pickles and some drinks but no chance to order our mains as the staff simply disappeared again....
Never judge a book by its cover! This restaurant may not look the most appealing from the outside but once through the door your greeted by a lovely, calm atmosphere perfect for a large family get together or a date night. The Food was simply awesome, there was an incredibly large menu ranging from British inspired dishes to Authentic Indian, All at a very reasonable price rarely over £9 a dish. The staff were more then welcoming and really added to the experience, although there was a slight language barrier, with some patience We managed to get passed that and everything was communicated effectively. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody.
You will not be disappointed. The food is fantastic. Every person I have dined with has been impressed by the quality and flavors. They are able to accommodate dietary restrictions by preparing fresh base sauces for you. Their vegan dishes are excellent. And don't miss out on their amazing lamb biryani for takeout.
The exceptional, kind, and skilled staff at this restaurant made our experience extremely enjoyable and welcoming. The food was tasty and satisfying, without feeling overly heavy like many curries tend to be. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely return in the future.

Heard it's changed hands. Had in restaurant meal and chicken was chewy. Thought it might be one off but takeaway was the same. Not sure if it was cheap chicken or overcooked chicken. Interestingly it has a one star hygiene rating so won't be going...
I don’t normally write reviews but this is such a lovely restaurant. The staff are genuinely helpfully and there are lots of vegan/veggie options. We were really impressed, lovely food and excellent service, thank you Vasai
Had a take-away of 3 different meals with add ons. The service was good and the food very tasty and plenty of it. They did , however get one meal wrong. A King Prawn meal was ordered but the prawns were not king but very...
The food is absolutely tasty full of flavour, the atmosphere in the restaurant felt very inviting. I will defo be making a return soon can't wait. Thank you Vasai.

I had a fantastic meal here once again tonight. The staff are superb and make you feel incredibly welcome. I can't find any faults with the food or the service.
Very friendly restaurant with helpful staff. There's an extensive menu and we had excellent curry and enjoyed our meal here very much.
