This is a very cute place with great, nourishing vegan food. They work on Sundays too. They have different menus for lunch and dinner, so if you catch them in-between, you will get a starters' menu, which is also amazing. The staff is helpful and speaks good English. You can bring dogs too. I had the gazpacho soup, which was amazing and croquettes with cashew cream, which were delicious and so comforting after my long flight. The place has an authentic Spanish feel and if you are lucky to catch the table with a view of the street, that makes for a complete experience. Highly recommend!
It was a great surprise! The Jobstoday.world team chose Vega for our monthly lunch to celebrate the birthday of one of our vegetarian colleagues. We were a bit scared because not all of us are vegetarians, but we enjoyed it a lot! We ordered the fake squid rice, the soy burger and the curry dish everything was delicious! Also, one of our companions has a nut allergy, and they cared for him without any problems. Thanks! The desserts were a delight. The apple crumble and tiramisu tart won us over highly recommended!
My husband is vegetarian and I thought traveling through Spain might be a challenge but heck was I wrong! There are plenty of options and VEGA is one of the best. We had a wonderful romantic dinner at one of the best spots in Madrid. We loved our main courses and enjoyed our drinks. The service was impeccable and they were helpful with our English when ordering. We will be back.
Delicious food, good prices, nice wine. Loved dining here even though we were a bit early. Therefore we could only enjoy the starters which were soooo good though. A must try are the croquettes and the burrata. Everything was vegan and locally sourced. I absolutely recommend this place!
