The Teaneck Veggie Heaven is the only reason I regret moving out of Bergen County. They are hands down the best restaurant. I say this as someone who cooks everyday and stopped eating out years ago because I was always disappointed. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been delicious and they are so worth the now very long drive on special occasions. I did try the location closer to me in Denville recently and it was… not good (and that’s putting it delicately). Whatever Teaneck is doing, they’re going it so right. You haven’t had proper vegan restaurant food until you’ve eaten here. Like me, you will never be disappointed. Dietary restrictions: 100% vegan and cruelty free
First time at this location as I usually go to the location in Montclair. The customer service is amazing here just like Montclair’s location but the food was not good at all. I had no idea it would be such a major difference. The patty’s were supposed to be Jamaican inspired but they really missed the mark here! This had cilantro and other spices that ARE NOT the taste of Jamaica! The spare ribs were not the same as the ones I get in Montclair these had no flavor and the texture was off! I’m so disappointed as the only thing I enjoyed was my lychee drink with popping bubbles. I’ll just stick to my regular location even though Teaneck is closer.
Delicious food. So much variety available. We liked the vegan sushi and scallion pancakes. I loved the chill, meditative vibe. Loved the green tea ? served free for each table. All that goodness but so so affordable/ reasonably priced. Vegetarian options: The menu is vegan. Dietary restrictions: Kosher certification on display. Vegan food. Parking: City parking ?️ lot across the street.
I ordered the sesame chicken it did not taste good I also ordered sushi which was very disappointing all of the meals are extremely high in gluten And they don’t use tofu or soy as much in the dishes as much as they use gluten which doesn’t have a good taste When you’re looking at the menu try not to get things with gluten because it’s very rubbery and cardboard Réservez une table maintenant
Can't love this place enough. Atmosphere is great, service was great, food was amazing. It's very hard to eat out as one child is dairy allergic and I'm vegan/gf. We brought two non vegan/veggie friends who were amazed and couldn't believe it was vegan and my son and I were on cloud 9. Dessert was the best!! Dietary restrictions: They had vegan/gf options.
As someone who eats meat fish, I found the menu selection very interesting. They do a good job mimicking things like chicken, beef, fish, etc. and I enjoyed what was served. Great place to accommodate for a group of people with mixed food preferences and needs, with friendly service to top.
