I have been wanting to try Veggie Perrins for a long time and finally had the opportunity to visit them last night. I regret not going sooner, as I discovered some incredible Indian food, great service, and affordable prices. We ordered poppadoms, a starter, 3 main dishes, rice, and chapati, all for around £30 with two drinks! The value was unbelievable and the food was delicious. The restaurant has a cozy, family-run atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. My only suggestion would be to switch from using plastic bottles for the mineral water and offer a different alcohol-free beer, such as Cobra Zero which I find tastier than Becks Blue. My very favorite restaurant in Plymouth...without a doubt! Alone or accompanied it always feel like a little feast: the food is a feast in itself it feels cooked from the heart and the kindness of this family is so unique that one feels that their food is shared as my friend commented tonight. Thursday is there special day…I will not say more…you will enjoy it very very much, is all I can say. Thank you, to every member of this family, for the goodness you share with us all.
Best Indian food I have ever eaten (and I eat a lot). This is not your regular British Indian restaurant food, this is authentic Gujarati vegetarian food, where you can taste every spice and flavour. The food tastes fresh and delicate, designed for the vegetarian palate. The only downside is that you don't get enough.
Very delicious food and friendly staff. It was a Thursday and they had South Indian food and Dosa which I highly recommend. Everything was fresh and fair prices!
