This used to be a great place to go for service, coffee, food. Such a place starts with service. We went on Tuesday 29th August. The aim was to have a coffee then order a snack or lunch. We ordered coffee. Ten minutes go by still waiting. A group of three sat at a spare table and made their order. A chap on the next table got his bottle of wine and glasses. Then a couple sat at a table and made their order. Ten more minutes go by still waiting for our coffee. The table of three and the couple got their order delivered to their table(s). Still waiting. The waitress who took our order walked passed our table, looked at us and said, “I’ll get your drinks”. We had been there some 20 (plus) minut...
We enjoyed a Sunday lunch today. The staff are very good, food a cut above the average and the atmosphere very pleasant . I have sadly watched 28 go from being a nice friendly restaurant serving good food to a cafe that is only interested in its handful of regulars and its clubs. We have now tried to get a table on 3 occasions for lunch and curtly been told no room. Only so many times il accept this and finally we will take our regular custom to more welcoming venues. Im sure they wont miss us as they dont seem interested this past year or so.
A pity. I do not recommend. AFTER THEY HAVE DINNER RWAEVADA AND HALF PAID. With 4 days in advance, after 1 hour and 45 minutes waiting, they tell us that they put what is there... Un lugar tranquilo y acogedor, la comida estaba riquísima y la servían recién hecha. Pero si algo debo destacar es el servicio de mesa; la camarera del viernes noche fue amable, educada, servicial, simpática, atenta, cariñosa y mostró mucho interés por nuestra comodidad en todo momento.
