Velvet Taco - Réserver une table

Seriously phenomenal tacos and margaritas. I always stop at Velvet Taco when I'm in Austin. Spicy Tikka is always my fave, and I try something new each time, and each time I'm impressed. You also have to try the red curry queso.But exactly how good is it? After a few years of visiting and hyping Velvet up, my wife finally wanted to try and see if the tacos lived up to my hype. So I got a to-go order, popped it on ice, and FLEW IT HOME to her in the PNW. 10 hours later, and with a little TLC on arrival, the tacos survived the trip and were deemed excellent.

Stopped in twice the weekend of 16 September as we were in town for the UT WYO game. Excellent, we had never been there and stopped on a whim and it was so good we went back the next night. We had several of their tacos and while the line never stopped every one of them was great.Highly recommend and it will be on our list of place to visit the next time we are in Austin.

Amazing tacos! Had the Korean fried rice taco and the elotes guacamole. Amazing! The only downside is the location. If you're not already downtown for something else you would pay for parking just to eat. But definitely my new go to place if I'm in town for an event.

Great late night spot to handle all your hunger needs. Not your everyday tacos, they have amazing tacos with a twist. Never thought I’ll have tikka masala in a taco, it was really good. The prices are also very affordable.

Had a short layover in Austin. Someone told me to go to Velvet Taco. So glad I did! Try the chicken and waffle taco you won’t be sorry. I also had the buffalo chicken taco. Delicious!!
