Veranda Cafe - Réserver une table

My partner from Leicester recommended this place. I tried the Mumbai sandwich (vegan) along with a Masala Chai (made with oat milk). The Mumbai sandwich was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfectly salty with just a hint of seasoning. It was served with some amazing spiced chips. This is definitely a restaurant I will return to when I'm in Leicester. I ordered takeaway, but the staff (I think the owner) was really friendly!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! Jas provided excellent customer service, and I highly recommend it. I ordered the gluten-free 'The Brit' melt, which was delicious and reasonably priced—not too spicy at all. The only improvement I would suggest is to include a knife with the sandwich, as the cheese is wonderfully gooey and stringy. I can't wait to visit again!

Both the drinks and food were exceptional! The service was also delightful—very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend it 100%!

Good food, good prices! My personal favourite is the brit toastie that comes with chowki chips. Absolutely delicious.
