if you want to spend a good 2-4 hours lunch (no evening service) with friends or family who enjoy simple Spanish cuisine, then you should enjoy this restaurant. at the arrival in the restaurant you can see that it is rustic that goes into the restaurant. a warm one. open fire welcomes in a mis maic of adjacent rooms with tables. a large carafe red wine welcomes it at the table, white and rose, where added on our request. what followed was what I would call good land cooking with big ingredients and full of gunst. our party chose lamb and escape for our main. both were excellently cooked, but our only complaining was that the cherry sauce was not great. always a warm and sincere reception from the friendly verd i vent team. the sweet in suppe and salad were super fresh and crisp. the salat dressing is a great balance of senf and sweet. the lamb is fabulous, two in ours. party chose it and it was superb as always. after several visits I finally managed to drive away from my normal choice of lamb, instead of opting for the duck that was perfectly cooked and well accompanied with red fruits. well cooked and presented with creamy potato and carrots. recommended first time visitors allow 3 hours to fully appreciate the great meal. is revised in short.
it is such a beautiful, rustic restaurant. we visited my birthday yesterday. such a warm welcome from the host loretta and the food was delicious. a tapa of cousin, followed by sweet soup, then an salad with a super dressing, Danish duck breast in peach... sauce, posture and unlimited wein for a very good price. eating is all homemade and there is a lot of it. some traveling musicians have even played a past that made for a super atmosphere. we enjoyed it so much that we will go again next week. would be highly recommended.
A friend of ours recommended this eatery when we first arrived to live in Spain back in July, I don't know why but it's taken us to get a dog to visit, but this Sunday we did! Long walk in the mountains and then back...for Sunday Lunch! Dog-friendly, great atmosphere, great food. Apart from the odd Negi-poster, the reviews say it all! Warm potatoe salad, soup, fresh green salad then your meat and then dessert finally coffee, unlimited wine included €20 per person are you kidding me! This will be a regular haunt from now on! It is a year since our last visit and once again well worth the drive. The restaurant is currently open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and the five course meal is still wonderful with as much wine as you can drink. All this for only €20...each. The owner and staff are charming and always make you feel so welcome. Highly recommended. Do phone to make a reservation on 699 352 907 and the owner will answer on most days, whether the restaurant is open or not. Please take cash as they do not accept credit cards.
We have been going to Verdi Vent for years and will continue to do so ! Incredible value for 20 Euros and talented musicians to entertain you as well ! First course a very tasty Tapa then soup followed by a salad . The main...course of Lamb ,Steak , Chicken or Duck are excellent and then a desert and as much wine as necessary , all colours It is all terrific and then the talented musicians appear who really create a further addition to the Spanish atmosphere . Wonderful !
a super place to visit, good pet food (lamb is a speciality) served in a rustic environment with as much local wine as they can drink. a little hairy to bad weather, but worth it. most often they visit a visit by musicians who play. some vote! all we take there, love it!
