The restaurant doesn't have a separate menu, but the chefs treat you like family, and the head chef is incredibly personable. They are so friendly and even enjoy whistling while they work in the kitchen. The focaccia is vegan, and they have a great selection of pastas. I opted for the lemon-infused zucchini slices instead of spaghetti with garlic, and it was absolutely stunning! They also talked to us about their special parmesan alternative, which was a delicious broth crumb (I forget the exact name, but it was fantastic). I have been to Vero three times now. Each time I have been, I have had 3 courses and can honestly say i have LOVED eating everything. Frankston finally has an original, attractive, affordable pasta joint. This place ticks all the boxes if you ask me. Wow ... just wow ! We literally just stumbled across this gem tonight. I haven't been this excited by a restaurant in a long time. And what's more, it's on our doorstep right here in Franskton. You can taste the premium quality freshness in the food most certainly can taste the lve. A special shoutout goes to Kyler, the friendly front-of-house staff member. He was incredibly approachable, professional, and well-informed about the entire menu. It was so refreshing to talk with someone who not only knows the dishes inside and out but also understands the ingredients and where they come from. I feel a bit torn! On one hand, I want to keep this place a secret for myself, but on the other hand, I want to shout about it from the rooftops! So good here! Everything we ate here was lovely and the waiter and owner were so nice. They gave us some free stuff too which we weren't expecting. Honestly 10/10 coming back. We had a great time. I highly recommend.
