Verucchi's - Réservation de table

Verucchi's is absolutely wonderful. We discovered this hidden gem four years ago on our way to Indiana from Nebraska, so we planned to stop by again on our return trip. My dad had been looking forward to their calamari all day, only to find out they were out of it. However, our hero of the day, Toni, managed to secure the last serving for us! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and Toni, our server, was outstanding in every way. The steak I had was the best I've ever had at a restaurant—perfectly rare with incredible flavor. My dad really enjoyed his veal, and the tiramisu was quite delicious as well. And the calamari! It was tender, perfectly battered, and seasoned—just an all-around...

We had a wonderful dinner after spending the day at Starved Rock State Park. This restaurant came highly recommended by a local, and it definitely lived up to the praise. Our server was friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant experience. We ordered three appetizers, all of which were served hot and tasted fantastic. We were encouraged to try the Italian fried chicken, and it did not disappoint; it was excellent! The Chicken Piccata and Veal Marsala were also delicious. Having visited numerous Italian restaurants in the St. Louis and Chicago areas, I can confidently say this was one of the best. My in-laws grew up near Verucchi’s and have always loved their food. Whenever we are near there we always pick up fried chicken and bring it to them for dinner a little over an hour away. They do a great job of packing the food for the trip and the fried chicken is always a treat. Haven’t dined in so I didn’t give a rating for atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5

Food was amazing but the waitress was not very friendly or timely. She mentioned a hand full of times she had a reservation after us but was taking half an hour with an empty restaurant to bring us refills. Near the end this place did get pretty busybut the service before hand did not see acceptable. Again though the food was really great Réservez une table maintenant

I recently relocated to Wisconsin, and I can't help but miss your incredible food! The chicken is outstanding, and the tortellini... it truly captures my heart! Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: $10–20. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend the Chicken Family Style, Fried Chicken, and the Salad Dressing.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was fantastic. I brought my in-laws, who are quite picky and tend to get easily annoyed. They really enjoyed the meal, but they were not pleased that, despite having a reservation, our party of nine had to wait for 20 minutes in the cramped entryway.

Even with a reservation, our party had to wait about a half hour to be seated, but they were quite full and we had a large party. All the food was delicious, and the service was great. There's a reason this place fills up on a weeknight!
