They have made some bad menu choices but staff executes well. For example, why would you make a delicious PEI mussel dish and line the pan with fries which become unappetizing mush 2 minutes after the waiter puts it down? The mozz in the caprese Salad was great but a massive chunk on top of a single slice of a freakishly large tomato slice is just a swing and a miss. Small, thin slices of fresh delicious tomatoes with mozzarella on top come on man. Itâs pricey for a wood fired pizza joint, if they want to elevate theyâll need to make better menu choices.
The food is outstanding and a bit pricey but, worth it. The Atmosphere when dining inside is a bit loud. I had five people in my party, 1 appetizer (Bang Bang Shrimp) EXCELLENT, 2 full size pizzas (THE PLAIN JAIN AND THE LOW KEY SAVAGE) 4 CHICKEN PARM AND ONE CHICKEN FRANCESE meals , 4 cappuccinos and 5 individual desserts (2 cheese cakes, 2 Tiramisu and one Chocolate Peanut Torte) PLUS 5 LEMON AIDS AND THE BILL CAME TO $304.76 TOTAL. AFTER I GOT HOME AND REVIEWED MY BILL, I FORGOT TO ASK THE WAITER WHAT WAS THE $8.34 ES CHARGE WAS AND WHAT IT STOOD FOR?
Did they change owners? Recipes? because what I ordered and what I got were way off base. Disgusting. A margherita pizza is not with raw sliced tomatoes, garlic and lumps of tomatoes. It was raw. It was DISGUSTING. THe smell was overpowering but when I looked at it/tasted it, it was done, I was done. NO NO NO. So many better options. i'm shocked actually having eaten there many times prior (a few years back).
