Ate here twice during our holiday as was quite close to our accomodation. The first time as walk in customers. The food was good and the service OK but somewhat impersonal. No one came to ask how we found the food. The second time we booked in advance and arrived just before our our booked time at 7.30. Drinks were ordered immediately and delivered promptly. Food order was taken shortly afterwards, about 7.35 then we waited, which was surprising as the restaurant was not very busy at this time and we had ordered grilled fish which does no take long to prepare. At 8.05 I called the waitress to enquire the whereabouts of our food as we had noticed that several tables that had arrived after us...
Probably the best restaurant that we ate at in Costa Teguise. Excellent food especially the paella. We had the prawn and lobster one and it was the best one we'd ever eaten. Also the marinated squid starter was very good. Very friendly staff who gave good service and who could fault those sea views. We also ate at the restaurant next door Dona Lola but out of the two we preferred Taberna del Mar.
we ate well and with satisfaction at the tavern of the sea. Although it is not a local specialty, we wanted to taste the paella and it was not a bad choice. attentive service, close to the beach and also good parking nearby make this restaurant a good choice. during our visit we noticed many local (or Spanish) people at dinner.
Great views, great service and great food. We have been visiting here for years and they consistently deliver. The salads are amazing and a Sunday lunch of Paella overlooking Playa de Jablillo is as good as it gets. The team are incredibly hard working and friendly.
