Nicely hidden away location, but easy to get to. Decorated with cool military pictures of ships, helicopters, and jets. It has a clean open area taproom. I never heard of this brewery before this past Monday. They have a lot of different beers and I've probably tasted half of them so far. All are solid and several are right in my wheelhouse. Love the Hop Banchee, amber, paratrooper porter, A5, CCJ stout. I hope that my local distributor in S. Carolina can get this beer. Wish they had room temp beers to go to take back home.
Rah!Cool place. Way out of the way.Prices are slightly higher thene expected. $7.50 for a pint. DO NOT BUY A 20oz. $7.50/16x20 is 9.375. Don't pay 9.50 for 9.37 worth of beer. Didn't try the food. They do have games for kids so that is very helpful. They also have like 4 versions of monopoly for those who wish to spend 3 days straight drinking.
I enjoy VBU so much, I introduced this place to a friend and he bought me a beer while we sat and chatted. Wednesday is trivia night so there was a good crowd. There's usually 2 servers on staff, but this night only one was on duty, but it was not an issue. I'll be back ?
Speaking directly to anybody looking to work here. This was the worst work experience I’ve ever had. Bartenders here usually quit within 4 months. The owner, Ron throws tantrums and is the worst boss I’ve worked for. The location is pretty bad and the beer is decent. Réservez une table maintenant
