Yes, this place is very small and crowded, but as many of these diners are disappearing because of the absurdly high NYC rents, I dare you to find another in this neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and hardworking. This place doesn't accept CC so make sure to bring cash. The food is generic diner quality, but for some old-fashioned, 1980's era diner, this is it.
Delicious omelette, ideal for a quick breakfast. I was seated quickly, the service was efficient, and the food was excellent. A ham and cheese omelette is always a safe choice. The portion was generous and the flavor outstanding. Breakfast prices are on the higher side, but that's typical for Manhattan.

Great staff .... Friendly hole-in-the-wall feel. Mostly tables for 2. Banana nut muffins fresh and yummy at 6pm. They heated it up and offered butter so that freshened it up. charged per refill?? 8 bucks for muffin cuppa w/ 1 refill. Plenty of sweetener and creamer. Réservez une table maintenant
This cheeseburger is really delicious, and the service is lightning quick. It appears to be cash only, but they have an ATM available. You can't go wrong with this place. It's better than some of the higher-rated diners in NYC.
A classic spot for breakfast and lunch on the Upper East Side. While the menu isn’t particularly inventive, the service is excellent and the food is delicious. It keeps bringing us back! We’ve been coming here for 20 years!
Stopped here for a hot chocolate whilst touring the meighbourhood. I didn't have any cash to pay my bill the manager/owner very graciouslly said it was on the house. Perfect little spot to rest uptown.
