I love this place, it's kinda hole in the wall, but the prices are reasonable, the food portions are plentiful and tasty, they give lots veggies too which is nice. Their sushi is definitely star and recommendable. Is it the fanciest place? Nah, but it's a solid recommendation if you are looking for just simple and good enough. Also the noodle dishes are very tasty, house special is spicy but nicely flavored. The food is like what you would expect a home cook aiming for thai to be accessible to everyone, tasty, cheap, not super spicy. I originally planned on having sushi, but decided to try the Thai basil stir-fry instead. The portion was large and the dish was delicious. The only downside was that the chicken had a strange texture, as if it had been tenderized or processed in some way. It wasn't terrible, but I may choose a different protein option (or go for the sushi) next time I visit.
The Tom yum lacked flavor and the massaman curry needed more salt. The chicken was tender and there was a good balance of veggies to meat. The Naruto roll and hot green tea were tasty. The Thai iced tea tasted like it was made from powder rather than freshly brewed. The service was good. Overall, the sushi seems to be the standout option at this restaurant.
The food is amazing! The Tom Yum soup is delicious. The taste is not comparable with the same soup in other Thai restaurants. The sushi and the Pad thai are very good. All curries are full of vegetables and flavor. This is the hidden gem of Easton road. Parking: It is small for around 10 cars. I never have seen it full. This restaurant is a little hidden treasure. The Drunken Noodles were absolutely delicious and the spring rolls were perfectly fried. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided great service. I dined in for dinner and the price per person was between $20 and $30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
