Vicius - Réservation de table

I always liked this restaurant, it was always one of the better more exclusive restaurants. We ordered mains only, with a bottle of house wine. The wine was excellent. My Iberian pork was very good, but the smallest portion that I have ever had in the Algarve. The slice of orange could have had the centre core removed, if the chef cared. It was served with a very unique salad. Dried wilted lettuce (it appeared to have come out of a bag), with coriander leaves, some of which were also wilted and yellow in colour, all topped with dried fried onions, seriously. There was a bit of 'fresh ' tomato ', tasteless. The best part was the fried, unpeeled potatoes. Why can 't the chef or his staff peel...

Great setting, open fire. Felt very traditional. Menu catered for all and was well priced. The food was spot on. Out of the 4 dishes 2 were a little off Parr, but on the whole was tasty and filling. The hosts were spot on. Good wine and clean toilets.... Would recommend

We decided to eat inside and headed for the rear of the restaurant and the room is very quirky sort of semi modern museum of kitchen things! The menu has local dishes on offer and the gazpacho was really really excellent. Lovely service from friendly staff.

We ate here several times, it’s a cut above the other restaurants in the resort. Local produce, quirky atmosphere and fabulous meals. The monkfish and prawn rice was a particular favourite. Good to see it was busy and hope it continues Réservez une table maintenant

Best food of the holiday service fantastic and the waiter was a absolute funny man sorry didt take his name the food was gorgous not to much and the desserts well they were a league of there own x

Visiting Vicius was a great experience! Dishes were very good, service was even better, and the atmosphere is good. Great value-for-money. Would definitely visit again and therefore recommend it!

We loved this restaurant. A lovely environment, delicious food and attentive staff. Excellent! Goats cheese starter, duck and veal in sauces. Utterly yummy. Loved the table settings. Delightful!

The food is good but the decor and ambience is nothing special but the service was good. The tables are a little close together and the restaurant is small but busy so it’s best to book! Réservez une table maintenant

We had a beautiful seafood dinner octopus was fantastic as was the monkfish. Highly recommended! Will most likely return before coming home. Quirky decor!

Beautiful meal. Amazing staff, friendly,polite and helpful. Beautiful steak and cod fish cakes. Well worth a visit
