Vicpark Indian Restaurant

I purchased a Groupon deal for 4 and visited on a Saturday evening. It was very quiet and there were only 3 tables of diners. Perhaps people don't really know about this restaurant as it is located at the far end of the Highway in the direction of the Causeway (next to Catalanos).I wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first visit with family. We ordered the Dharjeeling Dumplings and a mixed Tikka plate. Yum! Yum! I would have been happy with just a plate of those dumplings! Tonight 3 of us went to Vicpark Indian Restaurant. It opens at 5.30pm and we arrived at 5.35pm. We had a booking. There were already 3 tables seated before us. The restaurant is large - not a great deal of ambiance but once you get the food you don't notice the atmosphere. The food does the talking and the girls smiles and polite and gentle service makes up for what maybe lacking. For entree we shared the samosas and onion rings.- delicious. We then shared butter chicken, lamb korma, rogan josh, saffron rice and stir fry vegetables, garlic naan bread. We could not fault it. Delicious and plentiful. The food is delicious and plenty of it.Unfortunately the restaurant is a little lacking in ambience, and the outside looks very un assuming, which is a shame, as the the food is beautiful. The staff are also lovely, friendly and attentive.Many Indian restaurants seem to have little difference in the flavours of different curries, but this one has it Sussed :)Have been 3 times now and been pleased every time.

Had a lovely dinner after purchasing a Groupon deal - will definitely be back. The butter chicken and lamb palak were beautiful with all the sides fresh and tasty. Very reasonably priced with great service. Highly recommend. Réservez une table maintenant

My wife and I dined here at short notice on a recommendation from a local. Lamb madras and naan was excellent and the prawn masala had plenty of prawns. Reasonable wine list at OK prices too.

Indian Food. Menu is decent and service is OK as well. However food quality was quite ordinary. Spices have perhaps been toned down to meet Australian local likes.

Dip naan bread in many sauces from plethora of dishes. You can order what degree of heat you'd like. Happy vegemite when we finished with full stomach.

Went for dinner with friends was a bit hesitant as not many people in there. But the food and service was fabulous. Will definitely go back again. Réservez une table maintenant

The Indian restaurant's staff is lovely and provides excellent service. We have dined here twice, and my partner thoroughly enjoys the food.
