The garden, bar, restaurant, and pool all seem like something out of a novel. The rooms are comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The hotel is a bit away from Montreux city center, but not a problem even if you don't have a car because it is easily reachable via the train or the funicular. As it is located high on a hill, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the lake, particularly when wandering in the nice garden of the hotel. Service is perfect, room are old-style but comfortable and very clean. Just be aware that there is no double bed, only two single ones close to each other. A spectacular hotel with delicious food. Very spacious rooms which stunning view of the alps and the lake. Will definitely visit again. The staff was super hospitable and the owners were always around to keep an eye. Old world charm.
