first I must start with the fact that this written review is long overdue, but I can say that my friends, family, and I have traveled over vidalia since my man had our high time there this past september. my man and I agreed early in our engagement that we wanted to have a high time that felt intimate and romantic and food that everyone would really enjoy and delivered vidalia on all accounts! the owner, chef Koch salvatore, worked with us to cut a special menu for our event of all our favourite dishes, create an intimate atmosphere in the outside and inside areas, and coordinated delivery times with all our external sellers. Third visit in a year. share the apill salad with a friend as I knew how big it was from a previous visit. hubby had again the wobbly soup and we all had a little whirl filled wobble. the most important courses were huhn genovese, kalb parmesan, kalbsal francese and a seafood with crabs, garnel and skallops. dessert was cannoli and cream brim cheesecake. this was a gourmet menu and we felt that $82 a couple was extremely reasonable for the food and excellent service. plan to visit our next visit. make reservations and bring their favourite wine!
If you ask me, other Italian restaurants should really take lessons from these people. Everything from the atmosphere that is so friendly to their incredible dishes and for what you get very reasonable prices. Both indoor and outdoor seats are available, which are very nice depending on the season. We love that this place is a kind of outside the beaten path on a side street, because it is integrated into the whole theme of this tiny edifice that grabs a big blow into the belly. Great business and great contribution to the community. Very recommended!
Came with my bff. I guess my expectations were too high. First the good part: the service was excellent, and the place is very picturesque and comfortable. Now the bad thing: Unfortunately, the food was not good. At least I was that? I had the Insalata di mela/salad, which was fine. Then the shrimps Francese. The dough was soggy and greasy and the food just came warm, it hot. The dessert, we shared, and it left much to wish. My friend had the Beetroot salad that was fine, but she said Osso Buco was good.
