I got off of work and had some time before my meeting at 6. I was in the area of Viet Taste. I have drove past this establishment many times and said to myself that I would stop in one day to try their pho and Banh mi sandwich. Today was the day to stop in.When I go out to a place that serves pho I try to see if they also have Bành mi sandwich. This way I can try each establishments version of the sandwich.Decor of the restaurant was nice. Open seating area and table are close together. It's smaller size restaurant, but the ceiling is very tall so gives a feeling as not to crammed. I was there after 2pm so the dining area was open and not crowded at all. I've been a loyal customer for a long time and have always enjoyed the food here. Although I've never written a review before, I felt it was important to bring something to the attention of other customers. I placed my order over the phone and was waiting at the register for my smoothie when I glanced into the kitchen. To my shock, I saw one of the workers stretching out his jeans while pulling down his boxers and then proceeding to touch himself. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. Another worker noticed what was happening and hurried into the kitchen to intervene and try to close the curtain. They both then came out and just stared at me. The food was good, but I’m subtracting one star because it's cash only. It was our first time visiting, and there was no sign outside the door indicating this. It wasn't until we were eating that we noticed a sign near the cash register. When we asked the cashier about it, she mentioned there was an ATM by the entrance for withdrawals if needed. If I'd known it was cash only, I would have gone to my bank nearby to avoid the ATM fee. Fortunately, I had enough cash on me, but I know that many people don’t typically carry cash these days.
So why only 2 stars? It's because they only accept cash, and there was no indication of this except for a sign on the cash register. We didn't realize it until after we received our food. Thankfully, we had just enough cash on hand to cover the bill, but the ATM was out of service. I'm not sure what they expect customers to do in this situation. They really need to either post a sign on the door or, better yet, start accepting cards! Réservez une table maintenant
First time trying Pho and let me just say, it was amazing! Exceeded my expectations. I most definitely will be coming back. Only downside is they only accept cash which I never carry but good thing they have an ATM so no biggie! Ooooo and their bubble tea is to die for!!! Its so tasty and yummy!Food: 5/5
Such good Pho! Usually get something closer in the city but my boyfriend is a big fan of their Banh Mis but this place beats a lot of the places in the city and I was pleasantly surprised with how much tendon and tripe was in my pho. So tasty and you can’t beat the price Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
