Viet Thai Resto

I found this place on TripAdvisor as one of the top rated restaurants in Sallanches and being that I love Asian (and in particular, Thai) food, I was very curious to try! It did not disappoint. The food was incredible—literally nothing was even just okay. It was all delicious. Even the kids’ menu was delicious, colorful and served with an appetizer, main dish and dessert. My husband ordered the menu of the day which also came with a dessert and it was such a delight. Our waiter was very friendly. We live about 30 minutes from Sallanches but will be making a trip back for sure. It was a little quiet for families with children, but they do offer take-away! We went on a Thursday at noon so it may be much busier on the weekend—I don’t see why it wouldn’t be, it is a pure gem!

Found this restaurant on Tripadvisor on my trip to this town and understand why it ranks so high. I love the awesome quality of the dishes, freshly cook and hot. The ambiance is super too. Moreover, the view is fantastic, it’s a must to visit when coming to Sallanches.

Super services from the beginning to the end. Free chips and nougat for welcoming with fortune cookies when making payment. My family had a great time here. So many choices and all our randomly chosen dishes were fantastic. Love the marmite most.

The best nem I have ever tried. I ordered filet de canard and it was fantastic. There is a wide range of choice for food and even for vegetarian dishes for my girlfriend too.

Excellent food friendly service comfortable dining need to try the pad Thai very authentic taste. Green curry also delicious
