From the outside this looks as though it will serve excellent food, all locally sourced, sadly the actual experience did not meet the expections set by the decor. There is a limited menu, several assiettes (cheese, foie gras etc) and some baguettes. We sat outside on one of the tables at the front of the building, and perhaps that is why some of the food turned up on plastic plates and the coffee was served in flimsy plastic cups. The crisps the children had were not hand cooked chips as I would have expected but very basic Walkers (Lays), the ice cream not a locally made vanilla but a cornetto and the bread may have been locally sourced but was far from the best I have had. Feeding off the crowds of those waiting for their allocated ticket slot to view the caves, you might expect this place to be your usual tourist trap. Far from it - fab foie gras and cheese plates are served at very fair prices in this pretty space, perched on the hill top. A popular stop for cyclists, the tables are placed in the middle of the beautifully presented home made delicacies for sale - mostly all kinds of duck produce, with a few more tables outside. They also have kids plates to introduce younger ones to canard based local specialties, and vegetarian choices featuring local goats cheese.

J'ai passé un très bon moment dans cet endroit! C'était définitivement un bon endroit pour regarder un événement sportif de grande envergure si jamais vous êtes coincé à Lima, Ohio pour une raison quelconque.

Nous sommes venus de New Haven car cela faisait un moment que nous n'étions pas allés au Beer Barrel. Nous avons trouvé quelques places au comptoir.

Il y a bien longtemps, je me souviens qu'il y avait un B-Dubs dans cette place.
